About Monday Steps
The world is changing faster than ever.
Every day we are surrounded by more information, more opinions, more predictions, and more uncertainty than any generation before us.
The challenge is no longer finding information, but understanding what matters.
That is why I created Monday Steps. Not to tell people what to think, but to help them think more clearly.
I believe that understanding the world is one of the most practical skills we can develop. Better thinking leads to better decisions. Better decisions create more opportunities. And more opportunities create greater freedom.
Monday Steps is where I explore the ideas, books and patterns that help us better understand a rapidly changing world and navigate it with greater clarity, wisdom and purpose.
What You’ll Find
The Compass
Exploring the ideas, patterns and forces shaping a rapidly changing world.
The Compass is the main publication of Monday Steps. Through thoughtful essays, it examines the economic, technological, historical, political and philosophical forces that shape our lives.
Its purpose isn’t to predict the future. It’s to understand the present well enough to make wiser decisions about the future.
Every issue is built around a simple question:
What is changing?
Why does it matter?
And what can we learn from it?
The Library
Exploring timeless books through the ideas they leave behind and why they still matter today.
The Library isn’t about reviewing books. It’s about using great books to better understand life. Every issue explores the ideas, questions, and perspectives that have shaped generations of readers and asks what they still have to teach us today. The goal isn’t simply to finish more books. It’s to live more thoughtfully because of them.
Why I Started Monday Steps
I’ve always been fascinated by ideas.
Not because I wanted to collect knowledge, but because I wanted to better understand the world around me. Although my academic background is in Computer Science, Physics and Business Administration, the subjects that have stayed with me throughout my life are history, philosophy, literature, economics, technology and business.
At first, they seemed like completely different disciplines. Over time, I realized they were all trying to answer the same question:
How do we make better decisions in a world that never stops changing?
That realization became the foundation of Monday Steps.
I don’t believe any single discipline can explain the world on its own. History offers perspective. Philosophy sharpens our thinking. Economics explains incentives. Technology reshapes the environment. Literature explores the human condition.
Together, they reveal patterns that are often invisible when viewed in isolation.
This publication is my attempt to connect those ideas and share the perspectives that continue to shape the way I think.
Not because I have all the answers. But because I believe better questions lead to better thinking, better decisions, and ultimately, a better life.
